Privacy Policy

Account information: your name, email address, and password (stored as a salted hash — we can't read it). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and avatar from Google instead.

Your content: the documents you upload and the URLs you ask us to crawl, so we can index them and answer questions from them. Profile images you upload are stored too.

Usage data: the questions asked of your bots, search analytics, and standard technical logs (IP address, browser type) used for rate limiting and security.

Billing data: payments are processed by Stripe. We store your subscription status and invoice history, never your card number.

To run the product: indexing your content, generating answers, showing you analytics, and sending transactional email such as password resets.

To generate answers, relevant excerpts of your content are sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) for processing. Your content is not used by us to train models.

To keep the service safe: fraud prevention, rate limiting, and debugging.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your knowledge-base content for advertising.

Content and files are stored on Amazon Web Services (S3) and our database provider. The application is hosted on Vercel. Email is delivered via Resend. Payments run on Stripe.

Each provider processes only what it needs to perform its function.

If you embed our search widget on your site, your visitors' questions are processed to generate answers and recorded in your analytics. Site owners are responsible for disclosing this in their own privacy notices.

We use cookies for one thing: keeping you signed in. No third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Your content stays as long as your account does. Deleting a document, bot, or your account removes the associated content from the live service; residual copies in backups expire on a rolling basis.

You can request a full export or deletion of your data at any time by emailing [email protected].

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or erase your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Email us and we'll honor them.

If this policy changes materially, we'll note it here with a new effective date and, for significant changes, notify you by email.
